@Phil thanks for pointing us to zmsearchndelete, it seems it is a new feature, great!

@ Naisiew, yes we can wrap a zimlet around this, I will shoot you a private email,
so we can discuss options.

Kind regards,

This looks good and work well even in 8.8.8.

Next, is there a way we can integrate this call into WebClient, may be via Zimlets? This is to allow user to go to Sent folder and click the selected mail and select Recall to removes from the Zimbra. If no such Zimlet already exist, anyone interested to develop it? I can raise fund for this task.

Thanks.

Thanks for the zimlets link. But I hope to query the DB to hunt for the mail and then clear it from the system. Any guide for this?
Earlier I did a grep -rl into entire store folder and remove the blob. This left error in blobchk. I think we could use some smarter query to find it in database and get the blob and clear from DB as well as in blob. Anyone started any preliminary work on this?

Thanks.

Hi,

Anyone has done anything to implement message recall, i.e remove a mail that has been sent out by user? It is understood if the mail has left the system we won't be bother about it.

Thanks.
