IMHO friends don't let friends use Bayes...
The Bayes database always lags what the spammers are really doing, and gets polluted with false positives from users who mark as spam legitimate mailing list and other news items they at one time subscribed to but now no longer wish to see. Users who subscribe to the same list then get their emails marked as spam.
When we use Bayes, we don't let the results be a major part of the scoring.
I expect others have different, more positive experiences with Bayes!
All the best,
Mark

BQ_BEGIN
Hello All,
For some time now I have been keeping my eye on the BAYES_00 tag in Spam Assassin.
I most cases it makes spam come in the inbox and not the spam folder (not all cases though).
I am thinking in the range of 80% failure.
Anyone here with thoughts on BAYES_00?
Kind regards,
Barry de Graaff
