We are trying to migrate a customer of us from Exchange and the Zimbra migration tool is very slow. I mean, it's taking about 40 minutes to migrate an account with just 300mb and 6000 items. 

We couldn't find any bottleneck. CPU, RAM, I/O, and NETWORK performance/sizing are OK.

Hi Fabio, 

Something that crosses my mind by reading your post is related to the redologs. I don't know how the Migration Tool works exactly but you might want to disable the redologs on stores that import mailbox data. 
It might speed things up.
