Hopefully you're also a NE customer as well, as 2FA isn't a FOSS feature. :) 

The general recommendation is to do a multi-server install and use zmmboxmove to do upgrades, but if you're single server I don't really see any reason move the server unless you're forced to do an OS upgrade as well.

I have a single server system that started in the (I think) 4.x or 5.x series way back when.... It has 8.6 now, (always the NE) am looking forward to getting 2-factor authentication on it when I can upgrade to the 8.7 series, but sounds like I need to be patient. Are you saying I should also plan on upgrading to a new server disaster recovery style to attempt to clean up left over artifacts from all the upgrades over the years?
