I was thinking that some part of the source code were still under some proprietary agreements.

This comment doesn't make any sense.  Outside of the licensed components 
(Network Edition), Zimbra is already fully open source, and anyone can 
obtain the source to ZCS FOSS from the Zimbra git repository.
