Has anyone played with https://sandstorm.io/ - they have one click installs for a number of node.js based stuff [etherpad, ethercal included] and they also wrap it around a unified ACL system if one wants it. There is also rocketchat.

Not sure if a sandstorm.io node could point to a ZCS ldap server for auth/acl's or not. I did see the rocketchat last night does allow for external auth sources.

Hi Stefan!

Thank you very much for the test environment, I've created a copy of this week's meeting agenda there so that we can try it out: https://etherpad.gr13.net/p/Zeta_Alliance_-_April_14th_weekly_call
I've also created a copy of the "Alliance Contacts" spreadsheet at https://ethercalc.gr13.net/=uub5y95j9f to test Ethercalc.

I'd say that for a couple of weeks we can still use Google Docs as the "official" system and then if everyone likes Etherpad/Ethercalc we can set up a final infrastructure (with access control and everything) and move the documents we have from GD...

Have a nice day,

Hi All,

as mentioned in last weeks conference call I set up a testbed of
etherpad and ethercalc to play around with.

The services are available at
https://etherpad.gr13.net and
https://ethercalc.gr13.net

Both installations use standard settings without user management /
access control as of now.

Best regards,

Sensor (Stefan)
