After increasing Amavisd's logging level I see many PYZOR and RAZOR SpamAssassin rules firing in /var/log/zimbra.log, so I think we no longer need to call Pyzor and Razor directly.</div>

Not really. I just take is as best pratice to generally use closer servers, to distribute vendor load, reduce global traffic and theoretically improve download speed.<br>
