Hello All,
About
/Restricting Subscribed IMAP Folders For the iPhone//
/
I looked into this and there seems to be no way to configure this from
an iphone, I also looked into Apple Configurator, but there also is no
setting that can be provisioned via mobileconfig to achieve this.
The only thing that may be helpful is the IMAP Path Prefix setting, that
defaults to root ( / ). This setting is available from Account ->
Advanced on iphone.
If a specific user has sync issues, this setting may be used to reduce
the amount of mail synced to that user's phone by moving folders outside
the path prefix. These things can be scripted/provisioned, but it
remains a hack that is probably not nice for a larger group of users.
