Hi Lorenzo, 

I know Randy will update this in his usual excellent detail, but here is a sneak peak at my update from the last call (and possibly some other details filled in). There was no solution yet for the latter two issues, which now have ZBUGs: 
ZBUG-1665 - Cannot send email if the status of the account in persona is locked 
ZBUG-1666 - Service.PERM_DENIED error when sending email with image in embedded signature 

The first issue I listed was partly due to our using an older "From" address permission, so it may not be common for others to see it. 
ZBUG-1670 - Sending email from a persona, even though the email is sent successfully, it remains in drafts and is not filed in the Sent folder. 

We have been using zimbraAllowAnyFromAddress to allow sending from any address, going back many years. With this setting, emails sent use to be stored in the sender's Sent folder. After the patch, the sent emails are now being stored in Sent per the preference selected in Preferences > Accounts (I haven't looked up the corresponding attribute name, yet) which specifies which Sent folder is used when sending from another account (to the account's Sent folder, the delegate's Sent folder, to both Sent folders, or to none). With email sent based on zimbraAllowAnyFromAddress now following that preference, I found the sent emails in that other account's Sent folder now. But the sent email also being left in Drafts is still a problem. 

I'm finally changing to sendAs (for account) or sendAsDistList (for DL) and zimbraAllowFromAddress (for specific external addresses) , long overdue, but finally motivated by this issue!
