To all, I opened a Github issue on the move away from Github,
asking for the Zeta Alliance team members to give their input.

By all means shoot your comments in this mailing list as well, in the end,
if there are multiple suitable options, I will put them up for a
vote per the decision model (https://zetalliance.org/the-zeta-alliance-charter/).


I am guessing we can also wait a few weeks to see what other projects will be
doing... but I rather be away from Github before Microsoft do their thing.

I've been using a private self-hosted gitlab server for several years and it has treated us well.  The public gitlab.com site has gone through some growing pains in the past couple of years...and from what I've read they are probably dealing with huge traffic spikes today following the github announcement.
