here is an easier way to install MyZimbra Cloud : 

(as root, on a Zimbra test server) 

git clone https://github.com/Cloud-Temple/MyZimbra-Cloud 
cd MyZimbra-Cloud/install 
./install.sh

May I suggest you create an installer bash script, so any noob can use it with ease. 

Like so: 
wget --no-cache https://raw.githubusercontent.com/Zimbra-Community/mythingy/mythingy-installer.sh -O /tmp/mythingy-installer.sh 
chmod +rx /tmp/mythingy-installer.sh 
/tmp/mythingy-installer.sh

Hello, 

here's something you could like : a Zimbra extension which allows to use Owncloud's clients directly with the Zimbra Briefcase , *without* an Owncloud server ! 

The code is here : https://github.com/Cloud-Temple/MyZimbra-Cloud 

It's source-only for now, but the install should not be too difficult if you follow the README file. Don't hesitate to report anything which seems broken or unclear. 

Of course it's meant to be tested/broken :-)
