[Users] Messages being saved on the personal account

Also this:
/opt/zimbra/bin/zmmailbox -z -m $MAILBOX mfg / account $SUBSCRIBER rwixd
/opt/zimbra/bin/zmmailbox -z -m $MAILBOX mfg /Inbox account $SUBSCRIBER rwixd

Is a work-around for a bug on some versions, the /Inbox does not share unless explicitly shared.

So I leave it in there.

Hello Fabio,

This is fixed in the latest release, using an outgoing filter rule.

Hi Barry,

Thanks for the answer. It is good to know that you are already working on it.

Two more questions:

- What is the point of creating a persona? I mean, the "sendAs" isn't enough to enable the account to send emails using the shared mailbox?

- I've noticed that when sharing an account, whether via the Zimlet or CLI ( /usr/local/sbin/subzim) the message " mail.GRANT_EXISTS" is displayed.

In the "subzim" there are 2 lines:

/opt/zimbra/bin/zmmailbox -z -m $MAILBOX mfg / account $SUBSCRIBER rwixd
/opt/zimbra/bin/zmmailbox -z -m $MAILBOX mfg /Inbox account $SUBSCRIBER rwixd

I think that using only the first one is enough to share an entire account.

Best regards.

Yep, is the same as mentioned here:

See https://bugzilla.zimbra.com/show_bug.cgi?id=106844 and https://bugzilla.zimbra.com/show_bug.cgi?id=107020, basically Personas don't seem to follow the SendSaveTarget setting. (Reported by Cerri...

We have to remove:

That way you would see another option in the FROM optionlost, that would save to the correct folder, but that
option would not be automatically selected.

Zimbra can be tiresome at times.

Hi,

I've installed the Zimbra Shared Mailbox Toolkit on a Zimbra 8.7 test environment and I noticed that when sending messages as the shared account they are being saved on the personal account, instead of the shared account "Sent" Folder.

Is there any way to change this behaviour when sharing via the Admin console?

Best regards.
