Hello Tuan and Cine,
Looks like we now have added information for building both debs and rpms, at least for pgp-zimlet.
How and who will be able to integrate this into a repository that will work for both RHEL/CentOS and
Ubuntu users?
Cause then we could go ad finally spread the word on it, and offer it as the de-facto way of doing things.
Still open:
- - How to deal with config_template.xml (custom administrative settings for Zimlets)
Kind regards,

The technique I currently us to deal with a RPM zimlet package is to
make a zip file and put into the package.
Once RPM package is installed, that zip file is simply copied to the
folder /opt/zimbra/zimlets-extra then let "zmzimletctl deploy" do the
rest (in %post installation)
Therefore, I have no idea how to deal with your issue now.
Anything we can do with "zmzimletctl deploy"? Or any other ideas?

How can you use a Yum repo on Ubuntu?
Or you will convert RPM to DEB by alien, won't you?
