Hi, 

I was looking for installing MariaDB with Zimbra MTA, but how to do that without installing mailboxd service ?

Yeah, that should be fine. Although there are already C, Java, and Perl 
clients installed. Since cluebringer is Perl, I'd think you wouldn't need 
anything outside of what's already present.
